This course will provide an understanding of COOP, COOP terms, and benefits of COOP planning. It will explain the elements of a viable COOP capability and provide information about how a COOP event might affect you or your organization. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for this four-day, 16-hour training session. The goal of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to develop and implement continuity plans according to established continuity requirements and guidance. This course targets State, Local, Territorial and Tribal participants, is limited to 30 students, with equitable representation from each RIV State as priority.
